In Hungary, Facebook is still in the “Popular” stage.and Tumblr is happily wandering in the relatively humble begginings of not-yet-existence.

As for Facebook, I’m a member since 10/2008, and I’ve been recommending it to my friends ever since. But they kept telling me that it’s useless and there’s no need to register to any other SN site beside wiw.hu. They didn’t register until Facebook became a widespread fad in Hungary.
